SENIOR CLASS READER’S THEATRE MUSICAL REVUE

Our Senior Class Reader’s Theatre program was established eleven years ago as a way of providing more performance opportunities for our veteran actors. Needless to say, this reader’s theatre program has proven to be very popular with volunteers and patrons alike. It is designed to meet the needs of actors 50 and older. All productions are “reader’s theatre” in nature, lines and lyrics are learned but not memorized.

18 Presidents, the Charleston, Civil Rights Marches, Rock and Roll, World War II, and the World Wide Web – the world has seen big changes and come a long way in 90 years and through it all the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre has consistently remained an enduring beacon of arts and theatrical excellence in the Kalamazoo community. Celebrate our rich history through the popular songs and musical theatre hits of our 90 year history. Irving Berlin to Stephen Sondheim, Elvis to Sinatra, Knickerbocker Holiday to Rock of Ages, this tune-filled musical revue will span our rich history and maybe even get your toes tapping to some
forgotten hits of yesterday and today.
