Board Member
Sidney is an arts advocate and practitioner in the greater Kalamazoo community. Sidney’s professional experience includes serving as the Executive Director of the Black Arts and Cultural Center, the board of directors of; The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo (past), Kalamazoo Institute of Arts (past), Kalamazoo New Year’s Eve Fest (present), Western Michigan University Theater Guild(present) and previous Director of Mission Advancement for the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo and is currently the Executive Director of Kalamazoo’s Douglass Community Association. He has volunteered at the Civic for over 30 years and serves as Vice President of their Board of Directors.
