Peter has been involved in the choral music scene since college graduation, directing both church choirs and community choruses. Peter is serving in his 15th year as Artistic Director of LanSINGout Gay Men’s Chorus. After serving for 42 years as a proud Michigan civil servant, Peter retired as Purchasing Officer of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation in February 2022. Peter resides in the Kalamazoo Vine Neighborhood with his husband, Hal (a Civic Theater actor, music director, and director). They have two grown children living in Florida.
