MUSICAL
This celebration of the mating game shines a fun-filled light on the truths and myths behind that modern mystery known as “the relationship”. The whole crazy world of courtship and marriage provides the background for this off-Broadway musical smash. First stop: the singles scene – from dating and waiting, to the inevitable “will he call – and do you care”. Next stop: love and marriage. It’s all about the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns and the surrender of your love life to the exhaustion of parenting. And it’s about the moment that a man looks at his sleeping spouse of fifty years and wonders why, after all that time, he loves her no less than when they began. I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is a musical joyride that blends song, comedy and, of course, romance. Mature themes, language.
