Nancy Rose

Board Member

Nancy graduated from Western Michigan University with undergraduate degrees in Theatre Performance and Broadcast and Cable Production and a graduate degree in Human Resource Development. Throughout Nancy’s 20+ year career in human resources, she’s logged hundreds of hours in classrooms around the globe, engaging, coaching, and educating leaders on topics ranging from change leadership to understanding implicit bias. She is a Gallup Strengths Performance Coach and has been a featured presenter at the Gallup Strengths Summit. She is the recipient of the Western Michigan University College of Education & Human Development’s Keystone Early Career Award in recognition of her achievements in learning & development and her involvement in the community. In 2024, she partnered with the United Nations as a keynote speaker and coach for UN Women in the country of Georgia working with their teams to support their mission for expanding women’s rights, gender equality, and the empowerment of women and girls.

She has performed onstage at the Kalamazoo Civic, Whole Art Theatre, Farmer’s Alley, and spent 5 summers performing Shakespeare in the Park at Celery Flats Amphitheatre. She loves traveling, reading, time spent with family and friends, and running her secondhand shop in the KalamazooKitty Marketplace- Lilies of the Alley.

Nancy has extensive experience working alongside leaders from all backgrounds and experience levels, but the most important future leaders she hopes to develop are her sons, Jack, Will, & Teddy.
