ALLEMANG STAHL, KRIS
Kris is excited to be making her Civic choreography debut with Grey Gardens, the Musical! A long time actor in the Kalamazoo area, Kris has been involved in more than 40 productions in the past ten years. Her Civic acting credits include Serena in Legally Blonde, the Musidal, Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Charity in Anything Goes, Morales in A Chorus Line and Star to Be in Annie. Kris’ choreography credits include Annie Jr. for Portage West Middle school and Anything Goes for Mattawan High School. An instructor for our Academy of Theatre Arts, Kris has also served as Associate Director on Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland for Center Stage Theatre. She is trained in Musical theatre style dancing, including jazz, ballroom and her favorite, tap. Kris is a Graduate of Western Michigan University with a B.A. in English. She would like to thank her Husband John, her parents and Kathryn S. Williams for “encouraging her to begin teaching and choreographing.”
